About the Photographer:  Tracy Siep

LoveBug Photography is a small home-based (and rapidly growing) studio in Sachse, Texas.  I feel that having a home studio offers a more comfortable environment for my clients, as well as the individualized attention that I am able to provide.  We just have fun!

LoveBug Photography was formed out of a hope for me to stay home and be close to our son.  This dream would not be possible without the constant love and support that I have from my husband and family.  I discovered my talent for photography after the birth of our son.  I could not stop taking snap shots of him.  My interest quickly turned into the desire to learn everything I could about children’s portraiture.

I am an active member of Professional Photographer’s of America and Texas Professional Photographer’s Association.  Both organizations offer photographers the best of the best in education, and I have been very fortunate to travel and study with some of the best and brightest photographers in my field.

I have been blessed with so many wonderful opportunities to capture the beauty and spirit of the children that I photograph.  They are all precious miracles and it is my hope that the portraits that I create are loved and treasured for many years to come.

Gift Portraits & Whimsy

Studio Session:   $75 for photographer’s time and talent.
On Location Session:   $100 for time, talent, and travel.
Sessions typically last 1 to 2 hours, but are flexible depending on your needs.

A portrait viewing & ordering appointment is scheduled a week after your portrait session.   I ask that all decision makers please be present at that time to view and order your beautiful portraits!

Frequently Asked Questions

When do I schedule a session?

• Please try to schedule your child at his or her best time of the day.  A well rested and well fed child is usually a happy child.
• Please do not schedule a session in the same week as a doctor’s visit for shots or an illness.  Your child may feel out of sorts for the session.

What do I bring to the session?

• NEWBORN SESSIONS: Please bring multiple changes of clothing for all involved in the session!  I sometimes photograph newborn babies in the buff, and they will give us gifts in return.
• Please bring two or more outfits for your child's portrait session.  Shoes are optional.  Bare feet are beautiful!
• Moms and Dads please bring clothing that complements your child’s outfits as well, just in case we add you to the portraits (planned or not planned).
• Please feel free to bring any favorite toys or blankets that may help your child to feel comfortable during the session.  They may end up as a supporting role for your little star.
• Please feel free to bring food and drinks for you and your child.  I have snacks and drinks on hand also just in case.

How long should I plan for?

My ultimate goal is to provide a nice and relaxing atmosphere for you and your family.  On average my sessions last about 1 to 2 hours.  We will take breaks whenever needed.  If a session takes longer, it just does.  Every child has different needs.  I am here to help capture your precious memories.  These things can not be rushed — so relax and enjoy!  They are only little for a short while.

When can I see my Portraits?

• A portrait viewing and ordering time will be scheduled at the end of your portrait session.  This is usually two to three days after the photography session.
• It is very important that all decision makers be present at the time of the portrait viewing to facilitate the ordering process.
• I require a 50% down payment at the time of your portrait order.  The balance is due at time of pick-up or delivery of your portrait order.  All orders that are paid in full at the time of the portrait viewing session will receive a bonus gift.

How long will it take to get my portraits?

On average your order should arrive in 2 to 3 weeks.  However, please allow 4 to 6 on all custom album designs, custom framed creations & canvas art prints.
